Combining innovative analysis and technological advances, the Medilog^® AR12 is the latest model in our range of ambulatory ECG recorders, featuring:

• Real time P and T wave detection
• Integrated respiratory monitoring
• High resolution HRV and pacemaker analysis

The Medilog^® AR12 detects both coupled and uncoupled P waves. The detailed ECG can then be viewed using the Medilog® Darwin software to reveal atrial arrhythmias. Digitizing at a much higher sampling rate and resolution enables pinpoint accuracy for R-wave peak detection and increased accuracy for RR interval analysis. Respiration-induced changes in R peak amplitudes are used to track the respiratory rate. This extra clinical information is obtained without reducing patient compliance.

Fire of Life^TM Software

With the new ‘Fire of Life’ software the HRV is analysed and displayed in a new way to help judge the function of the autonomic nervous system. Viewing the ‘Fire of Life’ helps to show how well the human body reacts to stress and recovery and if repeated it can show if therapeutic actions or lifestyle changes are successful in reducing stress and improving recovery. This opens up new diagnostic possibilities.
